Watchdog Thailand advised a citizen to bring a man who brutally hitting a stray dog while it was getting into the trash for prosecution.

WDT received a complaint from a kind citizen who provided food for stray dogs in Laem Chabang city, Sri Racha District, Chonburi Province. A man used iron rod hit many stray dogs because he was disturbed that the dogs got into the trash. He also threatened to poison all every dogs that rummaged garbage.

The dog was taken to animal hospital by this kind citizen and a statement was reported at the police station. WDT advised the citizen to file a criminal charge against the man. Animal cruelty offence is a Public Offence and non compoundable, Authorities are at a loss and citizen can file a petition.

Pol. Col. Jirawat Sakseewattana, Superintendent Laem Chabang Police Station was coordinated by WDT and he assigned Pol. Lt. Col. Peerapong Nuchana, Inspector (Investigation) to investigate the case. The police prepared to visit the crime scene for further investigation and to bring the case for trial.

If you witness any animal cruelty you must report and file a criminal charge to prevent more cases in the future. Bring a case to trial today so no more animal will be abused or injured.
