WDT รับแจ้งจากประชาชนสด ๆ ร้อน ๆ จึงประสานเร่งด่วน พ.ต.อ.สุชาติ ละลี ผกก.สภ.พนา จังหวัดอำนาจเจริญ กำชับสั่งการร้อยเวรลงพื้นที่ติดตามสอบถามบ้านเจ้าของหมาที่เพิ่งขาย “มดแดง” ให้คนเอาไปฆ่ากิน หวังติดตามช่วยทันให้พ้นจากความตายที่เจ้าของหยิบยื่นให้

 

หลังตำรวจถูกหลอกล่อด้วยคำให้การยืนยันว่า เจ้าของไม่ได้ขายหมาไปในราคา 200 บาท แต่ได้ส่ง “มดแดง” ให้ญาตินำไปเลี้ยงที่ชุมพร โดยมีญาติให้ความร่วมมือช่วยกันแต่งเรื่องเป็นคุ้งเป็นแควว่า พามดแดงขึ้นรถไฟจากสถานีอุบลราชธานี แล้วมีคนมารับ พาเดินทางไป อ.สวี ชุมพร แล้วทำมดแดงหลุดหายระหว่างทาง ตามสไตล์โกหกเดิมๆ ว่า “หมาหาย”

 

WDT จึงประสานขอความช่วยเหลือ สภ.สวี จังหวัดชุมพร ลงพื้นที่ร่วมกับผู้ใหญ่บ้าน ต.ครน ตรวจสอบไปถึงบ้านสวน ไม่พบตัวมดแดงแต่อย่างใด และได้รับการยืนยันว่าไม่เคยมีการเลี้ยงสัตว์ที่นั่นเลย ทั้งยังประสานเจ้าหน้าที่สัมภาระสถานีรถไฟอุบลราชธานี ยืนยันว่าไม่เคยมีหมาลักษณะหน้าตาแบบมดแดงซื้อตั๋วระวางสัมภาระขึ้นรถไฟในวันจันทร์ที่ 27 มีนาคม 2560 ตามกล่าวอ้าง! จึงประสานขอให้ ร.ต.อ.อภิชาติ พูลสมัคร รอง สว.(สอบสวน) สภ.พนา นำหลักฐานการจับโกหกนี้ สอบสวนเข้มกับเจ้าของหมาอีกครั้ง จนในที่สุดก็ยอมรับสารภาพ !

 

มดแดงตายแล้ว…ตายเพราะไปกัดไก่เขา เจ้าของผู้เป็นสามี บันดาลโทสะ กลัวเสียเงินชดใช้ค่าไก่ จึงใช้ด้ามเสียมตีหัวจนขาดใจตาย แล้วเผาจนไม่เหลือซาก แม้จะไม่ปักใจเชื่อ แต่ก็ทำอะไรไม่ได้ เพราะไม่มีพยาน

 

ร.ต.อ.อภิชาติ พูลสมัคร รอง สว.(สอบสวน) ร้อยเวรเจ้าของคดี ลงพื้นที่สอบสวนสถานที่เกิดเหตุวันนี้ รวบรวมหลักฐาน พร้อมคำสารภาพเตรียมส่งฟ้องศาลข้อหาทารุณกรรมสัตว์ตามมาตรา 20 แห่ง พรบ.ป้องกันการทารุณกรรม และการจัดสวัสดิภาพสัตว์ พ.ศ. 2557

 

“มดแดง” คงไม่ใช่เป็นชีวิตสุดท้ายของวิถีการกิน ฆ่า ค้าสุนัข และการทารุณกรรมของมนุษย์ที่เรียกตนเองว่าสัตว์ประเสริฐ เพราะนี่คือวิถีชุมชนชาวบ้านที่ต่างก็เลี้ยงสัตว์ปล่อยปละละเลยด้วยกันทั้งนั้น สัญชาติญาณของสัตว์ จึงถูกควบคุมไว้ด้วยการตัดสินถูก หรือผิดจากมนุษย์แต่เพียงผู้เดียว

WDT has followed the investigation to find any evidence that Moddang is still safe and sound, after the owner has claimed that Moddang was sent to a relative in Chumporn to be fed. The relative also claimed that they brought Moddang into a train from Ubolratchatani and there was a person who picked it up to go to Sawee district, Chumporn, but Moddange went missing on the way, which is the same way to lie that “the dog went missing”.

WDT then contacted the Sawee Police Station in Chumporn to inspect the area with the village chief and check out the house, but there were no traces of Moddang and it was confirmed that there was no pets being fed before.

 

WDT then contacted the luggage officer in Ubolratchathani Train Station, and it was confirmed that there were no dogs looking like Moddang within the luggage list in Monday 27th, 2017 as claimed.

This way, WDT then contacted Pol. Capt. Apichart Poolsamak, the sub inspector (inquiry) of Pana Police Station to bring this evidence to prove against such lie to interrogate the dog’s owner until he confessed … 

that Moddang was dead !, he killed Moddang all by himself with the spade handle and burnt it all because Moddang bit other people’s chickens for many times.

 

If we do not believe it as true, this would be a merely animal cruelty case and the confession cannot bring us to the buyer, which might decrease our chance to be able to do the deterrence on the dog consumer village in Pana district, since there is no enough evidence.

 

WDT has contact the police to do the arrest continuously according to Animal Welfare Law 2014 with the charge of animal cruelty case.

 

‘Moddang’ won’t be the last life sacrificed for such killing and eating from human, who claimed themselves as civilized. This is the local custom to feed their pets and let them be without caring about their welfare. Animal, lastly, would be merely a tool for human’s control to judge them as they please.

The owners confessed of bashing it with a shovel handle to death because of it biting the neighboring chickens.
