‘BOK’ was severely hit by his owner until his eye popped out of socket and was unconscious. The owner said BOK was a savage dog.
A complaint received by WDT from a citizen of Nong Jok village, Moo 4, Phanom Thuan District, Kanchanaburi Province. After hitting his dog the owner went fishing. The villager was afraid that when the owner came back he might hurt the dog again.
WDT contacted Village Headman and his assistant to rescue the dog. WDT also coordinated with Pol. Col. Amnat Iam-jaidee Superintendent and Pol. Lt. Col. Nagorn Wiboonchatdamrong Deputy Superintendent Phanom Thuan Police Station to assign Pol.Capt. Adisa Somkit, Sub-Inspector (Investigation) and Pol.Sen.Sgt.Maj. Wathit Lamduan, Squad Leader of Phanom Thuan Police Station to arrest the owner but he fled the scene. BOK was urgently brought to animal hospital by Pol.Cpl. Pongwat Rabieb.
A warrant of arrest will be issued for the dog’s owner.

BOK’s eye will be definitely taken out and the healing will be a long term process due to his severe head injury, the vet said.
